Mane Kancor’s Herb Oleoresins give the natural, concentrated flavour profiles of culinary ingredients. These oleoresins are powerful tools that enhance flavour in food and beverages. Thyme Oleoresin is naturally obtained by solvent extraction of dried leaves of thyme. It is a dark, greenish-brown viscous liquid, with a herbaceous aroma, slight bitterness and a faint clovish aftertaste. The product consists of natural extract of leaves of Thyme standardized with refined vegetable oils.
The method of solvent extraction uses a separation solvent, which is generally non-volatile has a high boiling point and is miscible with the mixture, but doesn’t form an isotropic mixture as a medium to extract essential active elements from spices.
